Hello to the Dollies!
We are very pleased to welcome Bar Labas, from Via Park V, into the League. Captain Greta says that translated Labas means Hello, so the players on the team decided they would be called Labas Dollies. They are a very keen and enthusiastic team, who look like being an asset to the League. The Fixture List is being updated, so that as from January, they will play all the Bye Slots as Friendly Matches.
Also, from the enthusiasm of our existing teams, I know you will all give them a warm welcome into our League. Captains, are kindly asked to help Greta the new Captain, by showing her the ropes during these Friendly Matches, and then next season they will be incorporated into the League for the 2013–2014 Season. Best wishes to the Labas Dollies, enjoy your darts.
Christmas Blind Pairs: At the Captain’s meeting last week, it was agreed to Cancel the Christmas Blind Pairs completely. The decision was not taken lightly, but for events to be a success, we need all our teams to support them, and as two of our teams had made alternative arrangements, it was felt best to cancel this event.
This means that two other events have been rearranged accordingly. The Ladies League Pairs will now be held at the Black Dog, in Torrevieja on the 26th February and hosted by Kevin and Lucy. The Ladies League Invitation Mixed Pairs will now be held at El Balcon, in Los Balconies, on the 2nd April and hosted by Fernando Garcia.
Captains are kindly asked to inform the bars of these changes, and this information is already being distributed. The Updated Fixture list will also be distributed in due course. Thank you all for your cooperation.
