Torrevieja Hospital Christmas campaign

Torrevieja Hospital has launched a Christmas campaign to collect food and toys in order to help families in need through the festive period. The campaign will be coordinated in collaboration with the Red Cross Torrevieja, which will be responsible for distributing the donations to those who are worst affected by the crisis. The hospital management has praised the solidarity of patients and professionals, commenting on their readiness to support the cause. The Hospital aims to beat its target from last year, when 400 kilos of food were delivered. Donations of imperishable food items, including pulses, preserves, pasta, rice or powdered milk, as well as toys in good condition can be left in the Hospital reception area. The campaign will continue from now through to January 2013.
