St James's Gate.........

For a change we decided that we would have a drive down to Torrevieja for a Sunday lunch yesterday and I suggested to my other half, Ian, that it would be very nice to go to St James's Gate as we would be able to sit outside in the lovely sun and enjoy our meal - especially as they have been advertising a *No Smoking* Area.

We got there ready for our meal and it was all locked up with shutters down - so we didn't get our meal in the end. Also there was a sign on the wall saying Se Vende.

Does anybody know if St James's Gate are just away on holiday for Christmas & New Year and will be opening shortly, OR have they finished and that is why the Se Vende sign is on the gate?

We've had some very nice evenings here and it would be a shame if they were packing it in.
